An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead technician to join our busy Voids department. You will be required to assist the Voids manager with the effective management of all live voids, ensuring the works are completed within a timely manner with a budget restraint. As a key member of the voids team you will facilitate in effectively managing the direct technicians and carrying out regular site inspections to maintain high profile quality work at speed.
Some key attributes for a Lead Technician:
• Prior experience and demonstrable skills in all aspects of managing employees directly and sub-contractors preferably in Social Housing Sector
• Previous experience in repairs and maintenance within the social housing sector.
• An understanding of our internal and external customers.
• Previous experience of delivering a high standard of customer focused service.
• Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of issues/problems and personally resolve them.
• Is able to critique processes/procedures and can implement improvements that have a business benefit
• General understanding of all trade works
• Proficient in Quality inspecting works
• Health & Safety awareness including relevant H&S legislations
• Excellent communication skills including e-mails & verbal communication
